Balcony cabins also have 2 chairs and a small table on the veranda. For adults, one of the ship's three pools is reserved exclusively for older guests to relax and spend time, featuring a poolside bar and a number of deck chairs. There is also a shipboard spa at the front of the ship, past the adult pool, as well as a gym. There are also adults-only activities, including limited alcohol tastings, trivia, and other activities in the After Hours section of the ship, which becomes adults-only after 9pm.

Those in the concierge level are charged $15.50 per person per night, with the additional going to the cabin assistant host, who helps with those accommodations. For 2024 and 2025 sailings, the Disney Wonder departs from ports in New Zealand and Australia, as well as San Diego, California, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Vancouver, Canada. The ship will offer cruises through Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Australia, and the Pacific Coast to enjoy, anywhere from two to fifteen nights. On August 15, 1999, the vessel started its Caribbean cruise service with 4-night itinerary from homeport Port Canaveral (Orlando) Florida to Bahamas. The ship originally operated on 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises, but in 2011 was relocated through Panama Canal from the Caribbean Sea to the US Pacific Coast. There, it operated on 7-day Mexico Riviera cruises leaving from Californian homeports (mainly Los Angeles, but also out of San Diego and San Francisco) to call ports Vallarta, Cabo and Baja Ensenada.

On our first cruise, my girls (then 3 and 9) had a blast in these clubs and begged to return together again and again. The adult-pool area had lots of swimmers and hot-tubbers at some times but was generally less busy than the family areas. You are paying a premium to cruise with Disney, so make the most out of what is included on the ship. Drinks are for sale everywhere on deck leading up to this party, if you want to raise a glass to the start of your vacation.

Pirate Night is a themed deck party, menu and fireworks party on select sailings. The standard inside staterooms are usually the least expensive on the ship.
One of Disney Wonder's three included-in-your-fare rotational dining venues is Animator's Palate, a staple on multiple Disney ships. Tucked away on Deck 4, this restaurant has a few different interactive shows and animation offerings on longer sailings — I won't spoil it. The physical restaurant will also come to life over the course of your meal, starting in black and white and ending up in color. Disney Wonder is a classicly Disney ship that doesn't have the interactive virtual-realty-inspired games or paintings and chandeliers that come to life as you might find on some of the newer ships. But it has the pools, shows, kid clubs, games and itineraries to set the stage for a magical vacation. Late-night adult trivia is offered in the Azure lounge, and we watched one of the raunchiest "Love and Marriage"-style gameshows we've ever seen during a late-evening show for adults only.

Your child's exact location within the club is tracked with what looks like a Disney Magic Band, and you can check them in and out at will. Guests on the Disney Wonder can enjoy three shows, including Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. That is, if kids can tear themselves away from the rest of the ship. Disney Wonder offers so many activities for kids (and, frankly, grown-ups of all ages) that trying to see and do it all in just a single week is a nearly-impossible challenge.
